TRI Taking Action in Anti-Racism

To our Feisty and Outspoken community:

We are excited to present TRI Taking Action on Anti-Racism, a special Feisty Happy Hour dedicated to providing a space to have conversations on how to be anti-racist within a triathlon and sport context.

If you haven’t attended a Feisty Happy Hour, you will need to sign up (see link below) to receive more info and the Zoom link next week.

Triathlon is a privileged sport. With that privilege comes a responsibility to dismantle systemic racism within our triathlon community. This responsibility requires us to be not just non-racist but actively engaging in anti-racist activities.

Join us on Wednesday June 17th at 5pm PT for an interactive conversation led by Dr. Gabriela Nuñez and Dr. Lisa Ingarfield on how to be actively anti-racist in triathlon.

Step outside your comfort zone through discussions on:

– Where do you see yourself fitting into the Social Change Ecosystem?

– How does this framework of Anti-Racism relate to triathlon?

– What can you do as an individual and in groups to be actively anti-racist in triathlon?
