This week, Alyssa and Haley talk to activist and runner Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Daniel about her work bringing awareness to the issue of missing and murdered indigenous women (MMIW). Jordan is the founder of Rising Hearts, an Indigenous-led group designed to elevate indigenous issues. She uses her running as a platform by dedicating the miles she runs to missing or murdered Indigenous people. Jordan shares her ideas on how the media can do more to shed light on these issues, what we can do at a grassroots level to support indigenous causes, and reveals her big goal: qualifying for the Olympic Trials.
