Enjoy the Process with Sophie Watts (S14E19)

In this Episode

On this week’s episode, Alyssa and Haley chat with professional triathlete Sophie Watts. Sophie made the move from short to long course racing this year, finishing 3rd at Galveston 70.3 and 7th at the St. George 70.3 last weekend. She tells us about what went into her decision to shift to long course racing, and how her career as a WTS racer has helped her as she transitions to longer distances.

Sophie grew up swimming and running competitively. She tells us how the ups and downs of her career as a collegiate athlete taught her to treat her body and mind with respect, and how sport has helped her develop in all areas of her life.

We also get Sophie’s inside scoop on travel tips and places to visit for those planning on heading to St. George this year for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
