Going the Distance with Ashleigh Gentle (S17E16)

In this Episode

With the shifts that came with a global pandemic, we’ve noticed that many athletes have been changing their sport. Ashleigh Gentle is one of those athletes. This week Haley and Alyssa are talking to Ashleigh – an Australian Triathlete that until recently has mostly focused her career on short course Olympic races. Ashleigh competed in both the 2016 and 2021 Olympics, and this year has begun her journey in non-draft middle-distance racing. Of course, making Alyssa and Haley very excited!

The trio dives deep into Ashleigh’s current season, including all of the highs and lows. Despite her fiance being detained at the border (and sent back to Australia!), resulting in them not being able to compete at the Couples Triathlon, Ashleigh has had a successful season so far. Competing in CLASH Miami – which she won, Ashleigh then went on to get 4th at the Oceanside 70.3. Talk about starting off strong!
