Going All In with Mollie Hebda (S15E4)

In this Episode

This week on the IronWomen podcast Haley and Alyssa are chatting with rookie pro triathlete Mollie Hedba. In her first season of professional racing Mollie has jumped in with both feet, racing back-to-back weekends in her first two pro races ever. She finished an impressive 11th at Texas 70.3 and 4th at Florida 70.3 just one week later.

Mollie is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, and she and Alyssa reminisce about how their experiences there led them on the path to professional triathlon. Mollie was a collegiate runner, and discovered triathlon in her college years as a way to cross train for running. But she tells about the community of triathletes she met in her post-college years while stationed in Japan as a Marine, and how this inspired her to pursue triathlon professionally. Mollie recently transitioned out of being a full-time Marine to focus on training and racing full time, and we hear about her plans for the rest of the 2021 race season.
