The Road to Tokyo with Grace Norman (S15E3)

In this Episode

This week on the show Alyssa and Haley catch up with triathlete and Paralympian Grace Norman. In 2016, at just 18 year old, Grace was the first ever Paralympic Triathlon gold medalist when the event made its debut at The Games in Rio. A budding collegiate runner at the time, she also went on to win a bronze medal in the 400m in Rio just ONE DAY after claiming gold in Paratriathlon.

Grace is hoping to qualify for the Tokyo Paralympic games this year, and defend her title as champion. Fresh off a third place finish at WTS Leeds, she tells us how her training has been going during this unusual Paralympic year, and gives some insight on the USA Triathlon selection process for The Games.

You can follow Grace’s prep for the Tokyo Paralympic Games on her Instagram @gracenormantri

We also get the scoop on Alyssa’s race at the Two Rivers Adventure Race that she competed in over Memorial Day weekend, and get answers from a few listener mailbag questions!
