Back on the Start Line with Anna Eberhardt (S13E22)

In this Episode

This week Alyssa and Haley chat with Hungarian professional triathlete Anna Eberhardt. Anna is one of the few pros who had the chance to hit the start line recently at Challenge Davos in Switzerland. Unfortunately, this race had to be cancelled mid-swim due to bad weather. Anna tells us all about what that experience was like, and how she has been maintaining her fitness despite a global pandemic to be prepared to race at this event. Earlier in her career, Anna spent a handful of years living and training in Singapore and Thailand and she explains how she adjusted to training in the heat and humidity of southeast Asia, having spent most of her life in the cooler temps and elevation of the Alps. She gives us the scoop on her favorite parts of training and racing throughout southeast Asia, and the best parts of the triathlon culture there. Now that she is back in Europe, Anna has returned to her corporate career in architecture; she fills us in on how she is able to maintain balance between her careers as a professional athlete and architect.
